Product Description
AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash 0-0-8
(NKP) is a liquid concentrated formula containing 8 percent
readily available potash (K2O) recommended for
use on all types of crops and plants. Its potential benefits include dark green leaves, higher nutritional quality,
firm stalks, prolific root growth, greater plant vigor,
improved nutrient uptake, fewer blemishes, reduced
susceptibility to insects and disease and increased
shelf-life. AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash
is the ideal product for those seeking a natural fertilizer
that demonstrates superior results.
Made with Potash to Stimulate
Plant Growth
Potash, the source of potassium in fertilizers, is considered
the “universal helper” and a major contributor
to plant health. It regulates many important processes
within plants and must be present in large quantities
because it is a component of the fluids that flood plant
tissue. Potassium-deficient plants are susceptible to
insect attack, have weak stalks and underdeveloped
root systems.
AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash contains
minimally processed sulfate of potash from the Great Salt
Lake in Utah. Unlike other sources of potassium, sulfate
of potash does not contain chloride (Cl), which can be
damaging to soil life and plant roots. The potassium found
in AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash helps
produce high-quality vegetables and tree fruits.
• Improves tolerance for heat, cold
and drought
• Promotes nitrogen (N) use efficiency
• Helps reduce susceptibility to insect
attack and infection by disease-causing
organisms
• Promotes early growth and development
• Helps increase oil content in seed crops
• Promotes early ripening, improved
quality and extended shelf-life of fruits
and vegetables
• Aids seed formation and nitrogen
fixation in legumes
• Formulated for foliar feed or
soil applications
Formulated with Sulfur
AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash also contains
2 percent sulfur (S). Called “the fourth major
nutrient,” sulfur has many important functions in plant
growth and must be present in sufficient amounts in the
soil and plant tissue for plants to realize the benefits of
nitrogen and potassium. Sulfur helps produce higher-quality
vegetables, tree fruits, small grains, legumes
and forages. Higher protein and oil levels in seed, and
high protein and vitamin A production in forages and
legumes are also benefits of adequate sulfur fertility.
All-Natural Kelp
AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash uses kelp
concentrate derived from Ascophyllum nodosum, a
species of seaweed grown in the icy North Atlantic
Ocean. It contains high levels of plant-growth hormones,
amino acids, micronutrients and potash. When used as
a fertilizer, kelp promotes robust and healthy plants by
reducing their susceptibility to stress caused by heat,
cold and periods of drought. Kelp can also increase plant
growth rates, fruit production, size and general quality.
Balanced Formula
In addition to the many benefits provided by the kelp
and sulfate of potash, AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate
of Potash contains fulvic and humic acids to release
nutrients from the soil, act as chelating agents, aid in
foliar and root uptake and stimulate soil microbial activity.
As the microbes multiply, they break down organic
matter into humus and further nourish the soil as they
die. These nutrients are slowly and steadily released
and gradually become available to the growing plant or
crop. AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash
also contains natural wintergreen oil to improve scent.
